  1. TROUBLE INSTALLING DRDOS
  2.  
  3. The symptom may be that when  the end-user indicates that  the  
  4. current CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT should  be used, and the user 
  5. continues, then when prompted to continue, the text scrolls off the 
  6. screen and  the  screen goes white and crashes.
  7.  
  8. This can be caused by either a problem in the CONFIG.SYS or AUTO-
  9. EXEC.BAT. The problem in the CONFIG.SYS could be a lack of a drive
  10. spec for the SHELL command. The problem in the AUTOEXEC.BAT can
  11. be caused by a complex path statement.

  13. If  this problem is encountered, tell INSTALL to not use the
  14. CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT. The install will then proceed thru a
  15. normal installation. The AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS can then be 
  16. edited to add previous options if neccessary.
